Ban rent rises for social housing during rising cost of living

As most people in social housing are in the lower bracket of income, a rise in rent is totally unreasonable and unaffordable with the current rising cost of living. Most people like myself who have house issues wait months for the problems to get fixed.

The number of tenants is a lot greater than the number of staff these social housing companies have so I do not see what makes this rise in rent necessary. Even the rent on things like garages is going up. I rent a leaky garage and I am still waiting for the roof to be fixed and their answer is to put the rent up.
