Require additional security measures in new cars to prevent car theft

We want the Government to require car manufactures to include 'as standard' biometric security measures (eg. fingerprint, face ID, voice technology, etc) in all new cars, to help prevent car theft. We believe the Government can help reduce car theft by requiring technology like this in all new cars.

Cars are stolen daily with only around 28% recovered and even those recovered still cause a considerable amount of distress to victims.

Car manufacturers should be required to install important technological advancements to help prevent theft. People's lives can be devastated when their cars are stolen and car theft could be reduced by this new requirement.
