Tougher sentences for vehicle theft including aggravated burglary

The DVLA quoted that 58,082 vehicles were stolen in 2022, with only 28% being recovered. The Government need to sanction tougher sentences to deter this. The effect this has on the victim can be horrific and yet nothing seems to be done about it. Car theft also affects the general population when insurance renewals come around in higher premiums.
