Amend the British Museum Act to allow the acceptance of repatriation requests

The unlawful removal of the Rosetta stone and other artefacts has been contentious ever since they were removed from their countries of origin. The Rosetta stone represent the part of the history and cultural identity of millions of Egyptian people. The British Museum has said it “needs an act of Parliament” to repatriate them. It is time for Britain to finally cooperate.

Let’s show the world our British sense of fair play by making this gesture of goodwill and friendship.
