The Privacy Council:

Should understand privacy (the overarching rights NOT just data privacy), and distil this knowledge into practical guidance that is made available to all.

Should advise Parliament on privacy matters.

Should co-ordinate with other organisations to help to create proper privacy-enhancing technologies that genuinely enhance and protect privacy.

Should help industry to enhance operations through privacy measures.
