We believe Police and Crime Commissioners are totally ineffective, and have failed to prevent declining police standards and loss of public trust in the police.

The council tax 'precept' for the Police and Crime Commissioner for my area went up 9.8% when the amount for adult social care cost went up only 2%. People never asked for these positions to be created in the first place and voter turnout in these elections is low. I don’t even get an update on what my commissioner does or what the budget is spent on.
