On average women have to spend £4,916 on menstrual products in their lifetime. These unfortunate homeless women and young adults are struggling every single month on something so many people take for granted. We believe that it would be beneficial for the Government to work with local authorities, local businesses and retailers to provide free sanitary and hygiene products to the homeless. This could be done by handing out vouchers at shelters and foodbanks that can be redeemed through businesses in the local area.
