The 2013 public inquiry at Mid Staffs NHS Trust recognised systemic failures in elderly care, today we are witnessing similar experiences within other NHS Trusts.

In 2023 some patients are still experiencing a lack of support with nutrition, hydration, hygiene, and toileting.

Missed care appears to be becoming acceptable ward culture, elderly patients are paying the price.

We believe the NHS is currently failing in its care of frail, elderly patients, urgent action is needed to resolve this issue.
