Increase the 40% tax bracket from £50,270 to £70,000

With the current cost of living crisis the general public are working all hours humanely possible to stay afloat. We want the Government to raise the 40% tax threshold from the £50,270 to £70,000, so people lose a smaller proportion of their income to tax.

Just like all costs rising with inflation, I believe the tax bracket should be increased too. there is a much bigger salary range between 40% and 45% than their is between 20% and 40% just that extra lift to £70,000 would make would help people with the cost of living, or to save for their future.
