The coronation may be a once in a lifetime event, and the link between Monarchy and the Armed Forces and Emergency Services is significant to many personnel. We believe not awarding a Coronation Medal to all personnel would be an insult to those who commit their lives and safety for their country, and would have a detrimental impact on both morale and retention.
