New rights for partners, pregnant or vulnerable people living in partner's home

Those without a tenancy agreement especially those with children, who are pregnant or vulnerable for another reason living with their partner should be granted specific rights to be given adequate notice before having to leave a property following a relationship breakdown.

Currently if a relationship breaks down, the partner can be made to leave without notice, leaving them homeless often due to no fault of their own. Special consideration should be given to those in this position who are vulnerable, pregnant and/ or have children.
