Make it illegal to take pictures of minors without parental consent

Currently there are only offences relating to indecent pictures of minors. However, to protect children from being potentially exploited, we believe there needs to be a law in place to make it illegal for people to photograph minors without parental permission.

I feel so strongly about children’s safety and people should not take pictures of them, including in public places such as the beach, without parental consent. How can someone tell if they intend to use that picture for either their own benefit or to exploit the child in some way? Why take a picture of someone else’s child in the first place if you intend to do no harm or use it in any way?
