I am worried about cats killing innocent birds and other wildlife and fouling in other people's gardens, especially as this is a disease risk, particularly to young children and pregnant women. We have had cats killing the baby birds from our nest boxes.

In the US most cats are kept indoors, and we don't see any reason why they can't live happy lives indoors in the UK.
