Fund reconstructive surgery and mental health support for all FGM survivors

In the UK alone, it is estimated that tens of thousands of women and girls have undergone FGM or are at risk of being subjected to this practice. The physical and emotional impact of FGM is devastating. The UK Government can take a significant step forward in ensuring the wellbeing of survivors. I request the UK Government provides funding to ensure the provision of reconstruction surgery and mental health support for FGM survivors through the NHS.
