The Venezuelan Amazon rainforest is one of the most biodiverse areas in the world and home to many endangered species. It borders UNESCO World Heritage site Canaima National Park. The Orinoco is the 3rd-largest river in South America and a vital source of water and life for millions of people.

These ecosystems are essential for climate regulation, biodiversity conservation, water security and human well-being. They are part of our common heritage and our shared responsibility.
