It's evident that there are staff shortages in many occupations in the UK. However, the high English level requirements for Skilled Worker visa prevents many highly skilled workers from applying for skilled worker visas. It's a barrier talented workers to immigrate to the UK.

The Home Office should lower the English requirement level for Skilled Worker visa applications. The requirement for English at B1 Level should be lowered to A2 level. We believe current visa rules are too restrictive, preventing skilled workers from coming to work in the UK, and hurting businesses.
