Lifetime ban on dog ownership for anyone whose dog attacks a person

I want the Government to introduce a lifetime ban on dog ownership for anyone who owns a dog which attacks a person. There are too many stories of people, even children, being attacked, sometimes killed, by dogs.

I think that this will prevent attacks from happening as much. Those who are unable to properly train and control a dog should not be allowed to own one. I think this will make our streets safer and prevent further instances of dog attacks on people.
