Require plants be labelled to show toxicity to companion animals

I want the Government to require labels on plants sold to the general public to clearly explain toxicity levels to companion animals, to enable people to protect companion animals in their home.

I would like the Government to ensure a simple labelling system - clearly showing toxicity to companion animals - is present on the labelling of plants for sale to the general public. These labels could use a 'traffic light' system, with different colours showing how toxic a plant is to different companion animals.

I believe this would help safeguard many companion animals against accidental harm in their homes.
