We have deep concerns that anyone who misleads Parliament should still be allowed to make nominations for honours and peerages. We consider this a serious breach of trust, undermining the integrity of Westminster institutions.

We call on the Government to block any honours list made by such people, to restore trust in our political system. It is essential that those who hold public office are held accountable for their actions, and are held to the highest standards of integrity and transparency.
