Increase funding for childcare for working parents of a child with SEND

Help working parents who have a child with special educational needs or a disability (SEND) access work by providing more funding for childcare. Accessing wraparound care and holiday activities for children with SEND can be difficult and costly, making it difficult for working parents.

I want the Government to do this to help working parents, especially those who are unable to claim Universal Credit and claim 85% of childcare costs back. It should also help the country as a whole by helping those with children with SEND get into and stay in work, pay taxes and make a contribution.

Currently, I do not believe the system adequately supports working parents with children with SEND. I believe there is a serious lack of support.
