Create an NHS for pets funded by monthly payments from pet owners

We want the Government to create a National Health Service for pets, funded by monthly payments from pet owners. I think pet insurance and veterinary fees are too expensive, and healthcare for pets should be available through a national service, available to pet owners who pay a monthly fee

Veterinary fees and pet insurance can be extremely expensive, and it can be difficult to get pet insurance for older pets, as they are more likely to need costly treatment.

There are charities that help with the cost of veterinary fees for people on low incomes, but we think a national healthcare scheme for pets should be available to all
