Require all social services workers to wear body cameras

To make it a legal requirement for social services to wear body cameras so all their activities, including the conduct of assessments, are recorded. This should help ensure reports given to a court are accurate and can’t be falsified, and any orders made are not based on hearsay or inaccurate facts.

This should help ensure orders to remove children are not made on the basis of inaccurate testimony. To protect families from false allegations and also to help ensure social services are complying with the standards expected of them. Body cameras should help ensure courts to have the proof they need to protect the most vulnerable from harm, but prevent children being removed from homes without reason or evidence to do so.
