Develop a rating system for vehicles that expresses how likely a mortality will result if a child is hit at standard speeds of 20 and/or 30 miles per hour. It should then made a mandatory requirement for new car sales that this information is presented to potential buyers. There are significant differences between car types and the dangers they pose to pedestrian children. This needs to be made public. The public need to be aware of this issue to factor it in to their choice of new car.
