Make it illegal for a parent to stop the other parent from seeing their child

I would like it to be illegal for any parent to stop the other parent from seeing their child/children without a court order or police intervention. Only when a child's safety is in jeopardy should a person be stopped from seeing their children.

I would like this put forward as the damage created by stopping a child from seeing their parents is huge and will stay with the child and parent for the rest of their lives.

The mental, emotional and physical damage caused by stopping contact is immeasurable. This should only ever be done when child safety/welfare is in danger. Stopping child contact would need to be put forward by the police in the interim period before a court order can be obtained.
