By failing to withdraw from this convention, we believe the UK is misdirecting resources that could be used to help the genuine, to support people who entered the country illegally and we believe should not be allowed to stay. We believe we must withdraw from this convention to stop this from happening. I am the son of two legal immigrants from India to the UK. We do not have an issue with genuine refugees or immigrants who positively contribute to our society. They are welcome!
