Stop the sale and use of fireworks apart from for the 5th of November and New Year's Eve due to people using them too frequently. I think this would give people with animals the time to prepare themselves the best they can. One or two nights a year of fireworks is more than enough.

People suffering with PTSD and other mental health issues may also be frightened of the sounds and flashing caused by fireworks. People who have nervous pets do not want to see their animals suffer.
