Many asthmatics and people with disabilities have severe reactions to aerosols, from asthma attacks to anaphylactic reactions.

When aerosol cans are used on public transport, asthmatics and people with disabilities often have nowhere to escape to and no access to a window or fresh air. Some people with lung conditions don't use public transport because of this, others suffer from severe travel-based anxiety because of it, and some have to risk their health in order to get to work, but it is an easy fix.
