I think suspensions of employees should not last any longer than 10 weeks.

There could be potential mental health problems with the person suspended, especially if they are alone and have done nothing wrong. An investigation going on during the suspension really shouldn’t take any longer than a few weeks, certainly not as long as 10 and we believe keeping your suspended member of staff in suspension for 10 weeks is a violation of rights.
