Inquiring into previous salary history can perpetuate wage disparities and compromises fair compensation. We believe that legislation prohibiting such inquiries throughout the hiring process will establish a fair and just employment environment, aligning with global practices to prevent wage discrimination.

I kindly request the UK Government to consider this matter and initiate legislative action, fostering transparency, fairness, and equality in the employment process.
