Allow those under 26 and recent graduates to earn less for a Skilled Worker Visa

Increasing the minimum required salary to obtain a Skilled Worker Visa will impact international students and workers in the UK. We believe the Government should keep the current policy of allowing recent graduates/workers under 26 to qualify for a visa if they earn 70 – 90% of the job's going rate.

In considering eligibility for a Skilled Worker Visa, recent graduates and workers under 26 are currently allowed to earn 70 - 90% of the job's usual going rate, if that is at least £20,960, rather than meet the full income threshold. It has not been specified whether this remains to be the case for when the minimum salary threshold will increase to £38,700. We believe a clear mention of this would be extremely beneficial.
