Replace ban on certain dog breeds with licences, muzzles and leads for all dogs

Remove the ban of certain dog breeds as it can lead to unnecessary suffering and termination of safe, loved and cared for dogs. The Government should bring in licences for dog owners, and require the mandatory use of muzzles and leads for all dogs in public spaces.

We believe a new licensing system would enable the Government to help stop dogs being raised to be dangerous or to be used as a weapon. There should be harsh punishments for irresponsible dog owners who breach these new rules.
