This should apply to junk mail, newspapers, flyers, and other promotional materials.

We believe that the current system for opting out of junk mail via Royal Mail is unnecessarily complicated and inaccessible for many. It also doesn’t apply to other distributors.

The change would help contribute to environmental conservation by significantly reducing paper waste and carbon emissions associated with the production, delivery, and disposal of unwanted mail.
