Review how the NHS responds to health concerns raised by family members

We want the Government to conduct a review into how the NHS responds to health concerns that are raised by family members. We believe that concerns which are shared with NHS staff are not always taken sufficiently seriously, and that this can mean people go without the care and support they need.

We believe the views and concerns of family members should be treated seriously by NHS staff. Close family members may see that someone needs help when they don't recognise this themselves. We believe deaths could be prevented if the concerns of family members were taken more seriously and acted on by NHS staff.
