Allow people to make voluntary contributions to the NHS

We would like the Government to enable the general public to make monthly voluntary financial contributions direct to the NHS. These contributions could help ease the strain on the health service and the people who work in it.

Allowing members of the public to make voluntary contributions direct to the NHS could give people with the means to help and potentially save an institution that has some point in their lives helped them. 38 % of England's population paying £1 a week would result in an extra £1 billion for the NHS.
