I suffer from Lung disease and an autoimmune disease. I'm on immune suppressants which leave my immune system compromised and vulnerable to infections and viruses, including covid, which can make me extremely ill and even be life threatening.

Since Dec 2023/Jan 2024 I've been in hospital twice, to two different hospitals and after my stay with both of them I caught covid. Each time I get infected it affects my lungs and takes me longer to recover compared to someone without health problems.
