I would like a change in legislation so that all those convicted of unlawful killing, including manslaughter and causing death by dangerous driving, receive a minimum of a 10-year prison sentence.

I do not think that current sentencing adequately reflects the seriousness of these crimes and the impact they have on the lives of those who have lost family members. My brother's killer has to serve just 3 years and 3 months in prison. There needs to be proper justice for all victims and the families whose lives have been shattered by the unlawful killing of the loved ones.
