Veterinarian jobs are on the shortage occupation list, but we believe current registration requirements create too many barriers to veterinarians who have qualified outside of the UK.

As a concerned vet I believe that our veterinary workforce should be diverse and inclusive, welcoming professionals from various backgrounds and regions. Currently, the registration process for veterinarians qualified outside the UK and EU can create barriers to the potential contributions of highly skilled individuals who may have acquired their expertise elsewhere.
