Remove VAT on Defibrillators, and related accessories and consumables

To remove the VAT charged on these devices, as they can save the NHS significant amounts as first aid lifesavers, often paid for by charitable donations. We believe they should not be subject to a 20% tax.

Many small organisations, sports facilities and clubs provide defibrillators for public use at their own cost. These items are expensive to purchase and require accessories to house them safely, and consumables (pads etc) to keep them safely operational.
