Fund more treatment, support and research for those who suffer from agoraphobia

Over 1 million people in the UK suffer with agoraphobia, and up to 7 million may experience some agoraphobic symptoms. We urge the Government to fund more treatment, research, training, and community initiatives to help alleviate suffering from agoraphobia and promote well-being.

We advocate for equitable support measures, including tailored treatment options, comprehensive training for healthcare professionals, and increased funding for research initiatives. We call for initiatives to address the significant isolation experienced by individuals with agoraphobia through community-based programs fostering inclusion & support networks. We believe taking swift action on these fronts is paramount to alleviating the suffering & promoting the well-being of those affected by agoraphobia.
