Extend the eligibility criteria for the award of the new Wider Service Medal

While the Wider Service Medal rightly recognises the contribution of Service Personnel fulfilling crucial operational roles, it only dates back to December 2018. We want the criteria to be backdated to the start of all operations that are still ongoing, such as Op KIPION and Op KIPION MCM.

Using Op KIPION as one example of only a few ongoing operations that pre-date 2018, we believe the Government is indicating that the service of those deployed on the Operation in 2017, 2015, or all the way back to it's start in c.2011, are not valued equally.

There must of course be a cut off date for operations that have since concluded, but we believe the eligibility criteria must be extended to the start of all operations that are still ongoing in order to recognise all those who have served.
