Stop fines and criminal charges for taking children on holiday in term time

The fines system and threats of criminal proceedings should be abolished. We believe the working class are being penalised for enriching their children's lives. We don't think fines affect the middle/upper class as much.

We believe working class families are being discriminated against and treated like criminals for creating essential bonds and memories by taking their children on holiday. It may be that school holiday trips are too costly, or it might be that set holidays prevent families from taking trips within the school holidays. We believe this is discrimination, no other way to put it.
