We believe our leisure centres are struggling with the energy crisis to heat pools and run air conditioning systems, and as a result many are closing or having to increase prices which can make it unaffordable for people.

Many of these leisure centres could have large carbon footprints, encouraging them to use solar panels could also help the government reach their net zero carbon targets whilst securing the health of its society.
