We urge the Government to establish a two-tier energy pricing system which requires lower tariffs for renewable energy and higher tariffs for fossil fuels. We also call the Government to establish a Transition Energy Fund which support vulnerable households and finances renewable infrastructure.

We believe differentiating energy costs based on the source of production can accelerate the transition to clean energy. We also believe incentivising renewables and penalising fossil fuels will promote sustainability, reduce emissions, and support a low-carbon economy.
