Launch a review into increasing speed limits on motorways and dual carriageways

I would like the Government to carry out a review into potentially increasing the speed limit to 100mph on motorways and 80mph on dual carriageways. The review should be carried out on 9 year old cars (the average age), testing their braking distance, safety features and sensors.

This review could help ensure safety standards are met before implementing any changes and would be crucial to ensure vehicles could handle higher speeds without compromising road safety, protecting drivers and passengers. By analysing these factors, I think the Government could make informed decisions about any future potential speed limit changes while maintaining safety as a priority.
