I believe that people should use reusable covers because plastic ones take a long amount of time to decompose, which may harm birds, squirrels and other animals who may die from either eating the plastic or being trapped in one. Also, I am concerned that harmful chemicals from plastic covers may leak into the ground and the ocean.
