We think generative computer programs (which we think are mislabeled as 'AI' wholly for marketing) not only take away work from actual creatives by offering cheap but unoriginal art, they are also a threat to British culture. We think our literature, art and cinema are a foundation of our national identity yet we feel we are skewing any future impressions of our culture with every use of generative 'AI' in favour of actual, genuine, intelligent and creative artists, writers, directors etcetera.
