We think features designed to maximise user engagement can be at the cost of their own mental wellbeing. We think social media companies use psychological triggers and are creating a generation addicted to their screens, and that the negative impact on mental health of this on people of all ages is now widely recognised. We think our exposure to this harm should be limited.
