I feel the Government is taking a moral high ground and acting without consulting the Chagossians. I think this country is good at telling others what they want, instead of asking, and that Governments of all stripes are equally guilty.

If Chagossians wish to return to the islands other than Diego Garcia, but not hand the islands to Mauritius, then I think they should be allowed to return, but with the Islands remaining a UK Overseas territory which could save the UK millions.
