Fund the NHS to create a national database for NHS medical records

I would like the Government to fund the NHS to create a national database for NHS medical records so they are able to be accessed at hospitals across the country without the need for contacting other hospitals.

I would like this to be in place so that if someone is taken to hospital in a different place than their home hospital, they are able to receive a high standard of care. I have personally had a negative experience where I was taken to A&E and the hospital was unable to access my medical records and therefore were unable to fully understand the extent of my medical history.
