We think misleading or telling lies to the public in public office should be criminalised. Public servants should function at a higher standard, and we think parliamentary standards alone haven't solved issues.

Implement a new law in the UK to prevent misleading or lying to the public. This should include deviations from manifesto pledges which are the basis of any democratic election, therefore the manifesto should become the blueprint for the agreement with the country.
